The drones were bought at prices up to 90% higher than market rates, with contracts awarded to companies controlled by the same people. Investigators found evidence of pre-arranged contracts and fraudulent practices. The investigation revealed additional financial irregularities, leading to the blocking of over $4 million in foreign accounts. The suspects are now preparing their defense before the case goes to court.
