Un nou record mondial la limita stratosferei: parașutistul rus Serghei Boitsov a sărit de la 11.551 de metri, atingând 501 km/h în cădere liberă
Russian skydiver Sergei Boitsov set a new world record by jumping from a hot air balloon at 11,551 meters above Siberia, reaching speeds of 501 km/h during free fall. The jump, which lasted two and a half minutes, was conducted under extreme conditions, requiring specialized equipment due to the rarefied air and low temperatures. The mission involved a team of nearly 100 people and was timed to coincide with Russia's National Flag Day. Boitsov's successful landing in Ust-Kalmansk also contributed to a new altitude record for the hot air balloon used in the jump.
