Un nou pod care leagă România de Ucraina, inaugurat joi. Restricții de circulație pe „Maramureș-Transcarpatia”

A new bridge connecting Romania and Ukraine was inaugurated, featuring a border crossing point with initial traffic restrictions. The Maramureș-Transcarpatia bridge spans 268.8 meters and links Sighetu Marmației to Bila Tserkva. Currently, only vehicles under 3.5 tons can cross, with plans to allow heavier vehicles in the future. The project cost 135.8 million lei and took over four years to complete, funded by the 2021-2027 Transport Program in partnership with Maramureș County Council.
