The company is also advancing in integrating large-scale energy storage systems to enhance project efficiency. Nofar plans to develop a total of 849 MW in solar projects and 2.24 GWh in storage in Romania. The Ghimpați park is the third major solar facility by Nofar in the country, following the Iepurești and Rătești parks. The company faces bureaucratic delays in project execution and connection to the grid, impacting its business model.
