Econergy Renewable Energy Ltd has connected its 59 MW photovoltaic project Iancu Jianu in Romania to the grid, marking its fifth project in the country. This connection increases Econergy's total capacity in Romania to 743 MW, with an additional 861 MW under construction. The project includes a 35 MW battery energy storage system, expected to be operational by Q2 2027, enhancing the company's hybrid strategy. This approach aims to diversify revenue through grid balancing services and improve project financing conditions.
