Un nou pachet de sancțiuni britanice împotriva Rusiei

The UK has announced a new package of 31 sanctions against Russia, targeting ships involved in a 'phantom fleet', Kremlin disinformation networks, and individuals accused of human rights violations in Ukraine. This move aims to increase economic pressure on Moscow ahead of winter. The sanctions include measures against those involved in the arbitrary detention and torture of Ukrainian civilians, as well as individuals linked to the indoctrination of Ukrainian children. The UK government estimates that around 6,000 Ukrainian children have been forcibly transferred to re-education camps. Additionally, the sanctions target ships purchased to help Russia evade sanctions and maintain gas export revenues. The UK has sanctioned nearly 600 tankers used for circumventing Western restrictions. The measures were announced following elections in occupied Ukrainian territories, which the UK deems illegitimate.
