Un nou instrument de AI poate prezice șansele de supraviețuire ale unui pacient cu cancer pe baza unei singure fotografii, susține un studiu

Researchers at Mass General Brigham have developed an AI tool that predicts cancer patients' survival chances from a single facial photo. The system estimates biological age and survival probabilities based on extensive data from over 40 million images. It utilizes two complementary tools: FAHR-FaceAge, which assesses biological age and survival, and FAHR-FaceSurvival, which predicts survival directly from selfies. Each tool analyzes different facial features to provide health insights. This innovation represents a significant advancement in using facial recognition technology for health assessments.
