The Ministry of Finance borrowed 193.8 million lei through a bond issuance with a 165-month maturity at a 7.10% yield. A supplementary auction is scheduled to raise an additional 29.1 million lei. In October 2026, the ministry plans to borrow 5.8 billion lei from commercial banks, which is lower than the previous month's target. The funds will be used for refinancing public debt and covering the state budget deficit.
