Bogdan Vasiliu, former director of CS Rapid, faces new legal issues for allegedly embezzling funds meant for handball players' bonuses. He has been charged with embezzlement and forgery, accused of misappropriating 106,452 lei between May and November 2021. This follows a previous investigation by DNA for bribery and abuse of office in 2024, where he allegedly solicited 200,000 euros for contract facilitation.
