Un nou coridor rutier şi feroviar strategic va lega România, Bulgaria și Grecia. Ruta se va extinde şi către Moldova şi Ucraina

A new transport corridor will connect Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania, enhancing links between the Aegean and Black Seas. The project involves upgrading the Thessaloniki-Sofia-Bucharest route and is expected to take 15 years to implement. It aims to provide an alternative land route for goods and passengers, reducing reliance on the Bosporus and Dardanelles. Funding of €277 million has been secured for the Alexandroupolis-Pythio railway section, with more financial sources to be announced soon. A memorandum has been signed by the three countries to enhance cross-border cooperation and infrastructure coordination, aiming to boost safety and attract investments in transport and tourism.
