Un nou asigurător RCA pregătește intrarea pe piața din România

DA Direkt, a German insurer part of Zurich Insurance, is preparing to enter the Romanian RCA market by applying for membership in the Bureau of Automobile Insurers. The company submitted its application on September 21, 2026, and is currently under review. DA Direkt plans to operate in Romania through the Freedom of Services mechanism, collaborating with local insurtech partner Ominimo for technology support. This entry comes after significant market disruptions, including the bankruptcies of major insurers like City Insurance and Euroins. The launch of DA Direkt's services may occur by the end of 2026 or in 2027, depending on regulatory approvals and operational readiness.
