Un miliard de euro pentru industrie. Cine poate accesa noile fonduri de la UE

The European Commission is allocating one billion euros for projects aimed at reducing fossil fuel use in industrial processes. The auction will open to companies across all industrial sectors in the European Economic Area, starting in early December. Selected projects can receive subsidies for up to five years based on their carbon dioxide emissions reductions. Eligible technologies include heat pumps, thermal storage systems, electric boilers, and direct use of solar and geothermal energy. For the first time, nuclear technology projects, including small modular reactors, can also participate. The program targets sectors like steel, chemicals, cement, paper, and food and beverages, addressing significant emissions from industrial heat production.
