A courier service platform founded by two Romanians is expanding its operations to the EU market, facilitating both import and export flows. eAWB aims to provide a modern, digital alternative to informal transport solutions, simplifying international deliveries for Romanian customers and online stores. The service currently operates with a network of five couriers, with plans to add more partners by year-end. eAWB estimates that cross-border parcel deliveries account for 5-7% of total shipments in Romania, equating to around 50,000 parcels daily. The platform offers both premium and standard delivery options, focusing on direct-to-door services.
