The Liniei Park, the largest linear park in Europe, has completed its third and final phase, set to be inaugurated on August 29. This urban regeneration project, initiated in spring 2022, will stretch 4.2 kilometers, connecting various neighborhoods. The park features rain gardens, orchards, and natural meadows, transforming a former railway corridor into a green space. The first phase opened in June 2023, followed by the second in April 2024, with the third phase now completed. The project aims to blend nature with urban life, preserving the history of the railway while creating recreational areas.
