Alba Iulia has launched a public bond offer in euros worth up to 30 million euros to finance infrastructure projects and refinance local public debt. The mayor announced that the offer is open to both retail and institutional investors, with a total of up to 300,000 bonds available, each valued at 100 euros. The bonds have a maturity of 10 years and will pay interest quarterly, with a margin between 2.50% and 2.90% over the 6-month EURIBOR. The subscription period runs from September 21 to September 25. The funds will support ongoing projects, including a green mobility corridor and an underground passage, while also addressing existing public debt.
