Danish retailer Flying Tiger Copenhagen plans to enter the Romanian market in 2027 through a partnership with Balfin Group, aiming to open 87 stores in Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia over five years. The first stores will debut in Romania and Bulgaria, with Croatia following in early 2028. The company, known for its affordable products, operates over 1,100 stores globally and sees Romania as a key market for its European expansion. Balfin Group, already operating Flying Tiger in several countries, aims to strengthen its partnership and expand further in the region.
