Danish retailer Flying Tiger Copenhagen plans to enter the Romanian market in 2027, opening 87 stores in Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia over five years. The first stores will launch in Romania and Bulgaria, with Croatia's expansion set for early 2028. The exact number of stores in Romania and their locations remain unspecified. Founded in 1995, Flying Tiger offers affordable products including toys, stationery, and home accessories. The expansion will be in partnership with BALFIN Group, which already operates Flying Tiger stores in several Balkan countries and aims to reach 20 stores by the end of 2026. BALFIN Group has a diverse portfolio across 13 countries.
