Danish retailer Flying Tiger Copenhagen plans to enter the Romanian market through a partnership with Balfin Group, led by Albanian billionaire Samir Mane. The expansion aims to open 87 stores in Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia over the next five years, with the first stores expected in Romania by 2027. Flying Tiger is known for its affordable products, including toys and home accessories, and currently operates over 1,100 stores across more than 45 markets. Mane emphasizes the partnership's potential for growth in key EU markets.
