A major Romanian fuel distributor initially raised diesel prices above 11 lei/l but later reversed the decision. Following OMV Petrom's price increase, diesel reached 11.05 lei/l at OMV stations and 10.99 lei/l at Petrom stations, while gasoline prices also rose. However, within an hour, OMV Petrom canceled the price hike, bringing diesel back to 10.91 lei/l and gasoline to 9.99 lei/l at Petrom stations. Current average fuel prices in Bucharest show gasoline at 10.03 lei/l and diesel at 10.96 lei/l.
