Un mare furnizor român, al șaselea de pe piață, Getica 95, și-a cerut insolvența din cauza opririi centralei de la Cernavodă - Economica.net

Getica 95 Com, a significant Romanian electricity supplier, has filed for insolvency due to prolonged shutdowns at the Cernavodă nuclear plant. The company, founded by Viorel Tudose, is struggling to purchase energy at high market prices to fulfill contracts with clients after Nuclearelectrica declared force majeure, halting previously contracted energy deliveries. Getica's financial situation has worsened, with a cash flow deficit of 230 million lei over two and a half months. The company has previously undergone insolvency successfully but now faces challenges in maintaining client contracts while dealing with rising energy costs. Getica reported a turnover of 1.6 billion lei in 2025 but also incurred significant losses, marking its first loss since 2011.
