The company clarified that these messages are not official communications and have been reported by the National Cyber Security Directorate. Recipients receive emails claiming they have outstanding payments and are urged to click a link for payment. E.ON advises customers not to engage with these messages, check the sender's address, and verify their billing status through official channels. Those who have interacted with the fraudulent links should change their passwords and monitor for unauthorized transactions.
