The Brăila Police Inspectorate addressed recent claims regarding a member of the Buricea clan visiting a police officer's home. The officer reported the incident after a man with a criminal record knocked on his door. Following this, police identified the individual, who claimed to be looking for a friend. The DIICOT had previously detained 22 members of the Buricea clan for serious crimes, including attempted murder and human trafficking, but a court later released them. Measures have been implemented to prevent similar incidents.
