Cristian Minae, an inmate in the Kreiner case, was punished by Aiud Penitentiary for giving a phone interview to Kanal D reporters. He was banned from visits for two months after violating internal regulations by contacting unauthorized numbers. Minae contested the sanction, which was reviewed by Aiud Court, ultimately upholding the penalty. He communicated with reporters through a conference call arranged by his brother. Another inmate, Laurențiu Ghiță, faced similar sanctions and is still contesting his case in court.
