Four sailors survived a violent collision with a pod of pilot whales in the South Pacific, managing to prevent their boat from sinking. The incident occurred on a 16-meter yacht named "Tai Tam" near Norfolk Island. After the collision, the crew activated an emergency signal and worked to remove water from the vessel. Eventually, they abandoned the yacht and were rescued by a container ship after spending hours in a lifeboat. Fortunately, there were no casualties despite the severe damage to the yacht.
