Un hacker din România care face parte din gruparea „KillSec”, reţinut de DIICOT

A 24-year-old man has been arrested by DIICOT for allegedly being part of the hacker group 'KillSec', involved in around 1,000 cyberattacks globally. The operation, which included international cooperation, revealed that the group targeted victims to extort money through data theft. They created a technical infrastructure for unauthorized data access and used encrypted communication to conceal their identities. The investigation, supported by Europol, led to multiple searches in Romania and other countries, resulting in the seizure of data storage devices. The authorities have taken control of the 'KillSec' website and secured over 110 terabytes of data.
