Un hacker a spart peste 100 de site-uri folosind inteligența artificială. Atacurile l-au costat doar 5.000 de dolari și au vizat inclusiv companii gigant
A single hacker compromised over 100 websites using AI agents that operated almost autonomously, with attack costs as low as $50 each. The campaign, discovered by cybersecurity expert Snorre Fagerland, targeted commercial sites in multiple countries. The hacker utilized AI to identify vulnerabilities and execute attacks without continuous human intervention. Major companies affected included Deere, SharkNinja, and Cummins. The operation began on September 25 and involved attempts on over 1,200 sites. Fagerland noted the complexity of these operations, highlighting a shift in cyberattack strategies with the use of autonomous AI agents.
