A French group, Syclef Holding SAS, aims to acquire four Romanian companies in the refrigeration sector, with combined revenues exceeding 35 million euros. The transactions involve Unicool Instalații Frig and Acsa Coolteam, as well as Horeco Impex and Frigoclima, currently under review by the Competition Council. Syclef specializes in medium and large refrigeration systems and plans to establish a strong presence in both commercial and industrial refrigeration markets in Romania. The acquisitions are part of a broader European expansion strategy supported by Ardian, a major private investment firm. The Competition Council will assess the deals for compliance with competitive market standards.
