The transaction is under review by the Competition Council. GreenChem aims to enhance its market presence by purchasing essential assets, including customer contracts, rather than the companies themselves. This move aligns with its strategy to strengthen its European chemical business, leveraging its production capabilities and existing customer relationships. The Romanian subsidiary reported a turnover of nearly 35 million lei in its first full year of operation.
