Un gigant american, furnizor al Armatei SUA, preia o fabrică din România cu 180 de angajați
TTM Technologies, a major American circuit board manufacturer, is acquiring Ophir Optics from MKS Instruments, which includes a factory in Bucharest with 180 employees. The deal, valued at approximately 650 million euros, is expected to finalize in Q2 2027. The Bucharest facility produces optical components for various sectors, including defense and security. MKS Instruments had plans to increase its workforce in Romania by 50% due to rising demand. TTM's acquisition aims to diversify its portfolio with optical solutions for military and industrial applications. The transaction does not include MKS's Ophir Instruments division.
