A mountain guide is under criminal investigation following a fatal accident in the Caraiman massif, where one person died and three were injured. The guide, who is also the vice president of a climbing association, allegedly neglected safety measures during a summer training event. Prosecutors claim he failed to properly plan the route and used inadequate safety equipment, leading to a tragic fall. He is currently under judicial control for 60 days and is prohibited from working as a mountain guide during this period.
