Lavrov commented on Zelensky's proposal to meet President Putin at the G20 summit in Miami, reiterating that the invitation stands for Zelensky to come to Moscow. He emphasized that Russia remains open to negotiations but will not cease military actions during this period. The Kremlin's spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, also stated that if Zelensky truly wishes to meet, he should come to Moscow. Ukraine has consistently sought a neutral ground for talks, but Russia has repeatedly declined this suggestion, insisting on Moscow as the meeting location.
