Un fost cancelar al Germaniei a fost numit în consiliul de supraveghere al unei companii din Rusia

Former German Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has joined the supervisory board of Russian retailer Hyperglobus, despite facing criticism for his ties to Russia. Schroeder, who was Chancellor from 1998 to 2005, has maintained a close relationship with Vladimir Putin and has previously held positions in Russian state companies. His appointment comes after he resigned from Rosneft and faced public backlash for his ongoing involvement with Russian businesses. Putin has expressed that Schroeder will be his preferred interlocutor for European security discussions, a notion rejected by the EU. Hyperglobus operates over 20 supermarkets in Russia and has become independent from its former German parent company.
