A renowned pastry chef created a 500 kg wedding cake measuring 3.5 meters tall for a Saudi couple's wedding in Paris. The cake took over four months to complete and features 33,000 sugar petals. Marc Suárez, known for his luxurious cakes, collaborated with friends and family to achieve this monumental design, which resembles a museum piece rather than a traditional cake. Only about 0.1% of the creation is actual cake, with the rest being handcrafted sugar paste and white chocolate.
