Un epiu de 150 de metri ar putea fi construit pentru a răci reactoarele de la CNE Cernavodă. Se ia în calcul și un dig mobil gonfabil

Authorities are exploring various solutions to ensure water supply for cooling reactors at CNE Cernavodă due to low Danube levels. Proposed measures include dredging channels, installing barges, and building a stone spur. A report detailing technical solutions and funding will be presented in 30 days. Dredging is complicated by low water levels, risking vessel blockages. Temporary barges have been anchored to redirect current towards the water intake. A 150-meter spur is planned to enhance water flow to the navigable channel. A mobile dam and pumps may also be installed to maintain necessary water levels for reactor cooling. Backup equipment is available for critical situations, but effectiveness is uncertain under current hydrological conditions.
