The documentary 'Qui vit encore' will represent Switzerland for the Best International Feature Film at the 2027 Oscars, showcasing survivors' stories from Gaza. Directed by Nicolas Wadimoff, it highlights the experiences of nine refugees and their struggles after war. The film has previously won the Prix de Soleure at the Solothurn Film Festival, praised for its humanistic approach to loss and displacement. Its international premiere was in 2025 at the Venice Film Festival. Switzerland's selection does not guarantee an Oscar nomination, as the final nominees will be announced in January 2027.
