Un document vechi de secole despre civilizația aztecă va fi expus după 186 de ani petrecuți în Franța

An ancient document depicting the Aztec civilization will be exhibited in Mexico for the first time in 186 years. The Codex Azcatitlán, housed in France since 1898, is believed to have been created in the 16th century. France is lending it to Mexico to celebrate 200 years of diplomatic relations, while Mexico will loan the Codex Boturini to France. This exchange was agreed upon by the presidents of both countries during a recent visit. Mexico has long sought the return of historical artifacts taken in the past, with over 2,000 items successfully repatriated last year.
