Steven Kolb, CEO of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, resigned after being filmed physically confronting animal rights activists during New York Fashion Week. Kolb expressed pride in his achievements over 20 years and stated it was time for a new chapter for both himself and the organization. The incident involved Kolb wrestling with PETA protesters who were opposing the use of wool in fashion. Following the altercation, Kolb was suspended pending an investigation.
