Paul Avătăji previously lost a case in Iași but is now seeking to annul a 1999 urban planning decision. He argues that the land should be classified for construction rather than green space, claiming a potential loss of over 3 million euros. This is the second developer to take such action, following Cristin Zămoșteanu, who has also filed multiple lawsuits against the Iași City Hall in Bucharest.
