American director Michael Mann was hospitalized after accidentally shooting himself in the leg at a shooting range in Los Angeles. Mann, an experienced shooter, was attempting to holster a firearm when it discharged. His representatives described the injury as minor and superficial, and he is expected to be discharged soon. Mann is known for films like 'Heat' and is currently working on 'Heat 2', a sequel to his 1995 crime drama. The new project explores the backstories of the characters played by Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, with a cast that may include Leonardo DiCaprio and Christian Bale.
