Jorlan Lopes da Silva, 33, disguised as a woman with a child, was apprehended in Mulungu, Paraíba. The arrest followed a 48-hour police operation. Lopes da Silva is believed to have committed these murders since late May and claims to have killed 80 people over 20 years, starting with his father. Investigators are verifying his statements and have found one body based on his directions, but the investigation is still in its early stages.
