Un covor uriaș de flori inspirat de opera de artă „Marele val de la Kanagawa” a fost dezvăluit la Bruxelles
Brussels celebrated the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Japan by creating a large flower carpet inspired by Hokusai's 'The Great Wave off Kanagawa'. Approximately 500,000 dahlias were arranged over 1,300 square meters in Grand Place, with volunteers, including the Japanese ambassador, participating in the installation. The design, created by Hiro Sugiyama, is a modern reinterpretation of Hokusai's masterpiece, titled 'Neo-Hokusai'. The flower carpet will be displayed until August 16, accompanied by a nightly sound and light show.
