A two-year-old boy from Reghin was rescued after his hand got stuck in a meat grinder, thanks to two firefighters who assisted in the operating room. The child was transported to UPU-SMURD Târgu-Mureș, where a controlled intervention was performed to avoid severe bleeding. The firefighters worked under the guidance of a plastic surgeon to safely remove the grinder. After the procedure, the child remained in the care of medical staff. This incident highlights the dedication of firefighters beyond typical emergencies.
