Residents visiting the terrace at Binder Lake must pay a beach fee, even if they only have coffee. Local councilor Nicolae Forir has called for a regulation change after experiencing this firsthand. He expressed his surprise at being charged 17 lei for a beach fee while simply wanting to enjoy a drink. Forir suggested that the regulation needs improvement to better accommodate visitors. Mayor Astrid Fodor acknowledged the issue and indicated that the terrace was not intended as a neighborhood restaurant. She also mentioned plans to terminate the contract with the current operator due to false documentation and suggested revising the regulations during the next rental process.
