An exceptional diamond necklace by Van Cleef & Arpels was stolen from an Austrian museum during the day. Two masked men broke a display case and fled with the jewelry. The necklace, valued at millions, was part of a temporary exhibition. It was originally made for the former Egyptian royal family and worn by Queen Nazli in 1939. The museum has confirmed the theft but cannot provide further details on the investigation.
