Un chiparos, vechi de aproape 100 de ani, salvat în urma unei intervenții realizate în premieră în Parcul Herăstrău. "A durat 8 ore"

A nearly 100-year-old cypress tree in Herăstrău Park was saved by ADP Bucharest's intervention, as announced by Mayor Ciprian Ciucu. A second cypress was also secured in the same area. This operation utilized a new technical solution, ensuring the safety of both trees. The largest cypress, located on the Island of Roses, was at risk of falling due to soil erosion. Experts from the Romanian Landscape Architects Association provided consultation for the operation. The rescue involved nine people and two machines, taking eight hours to complete. A non-invasive support system called Cobra was used, along with five anchors to stabilize the trees.
