Un centru naval NATO va fi construit lângă granița Rusiei. UE alocă 100 de milioane de euro

The EU has approved a €100 million investment to transform the Klaipeda port into a NATO naval center. Klaipeda's strategic location near the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad makes it vital for enhancing Eastern Flank defense logistics. The project is part of the EU's Trans-European Transport Network and aims to improve both civil and military transport by 2030. However, some related projects, like Rail Baltica, face delays. Ongoing negotiations in Brussels focus on a new military mobility law, which may include Ukraine as a future EU member.
