Romanian actor Adrian Văncică received the Best Actor award at the Sarajevo Film Festival for his role in 'Nu e locul tău aici', directed by Florin Șerban. The film tells the story of a respected surgeon who discovers his son is involved in a racist youth organization. The festival took place from August 14-21, 2026, and is a significant event in Southeast European cinema. Florin Șerban also won the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival for the same film, marking his return to feature films after an eight-year hiatus.
