A British man was arrested in Cyprus for allegedly conducting hostile surveillance at a RAF base and sharing information with the IRGC. Rashad Sultanov, 44, holds dual British and Azerbaijani citizenship and was detained during extradition proceedings. The investigation, led by the counter-terrorism unit, focuses on incidents at RAF Akrotiri between May 11 and June 22 last year. The base was previously targeted by Iranian-made drones amid ongoing Middle Eastern conflicts.
