A 68-year-old local is suspected of selling contraband cigarettes in a public establishment this year. The operation, conducted on September 3, targeted the suspect's property and a commercial space where a shop and village bar operate. Authorities seized 10,977 cigarettes, estimating a loss of over 12,000 lei to the state budget. Investigations are ongoing to uncover the full extent of the illegal activities.
