A man from Arad is accused of selling fake gold bars online, claiming they were 24K gold while they were made of cheaper alloys. The estimated fraud amount is around 5,000 lei. Police conducted searches in various locations in Arad, uncovering five bars marked as Valcambi Suisse, suspected to be counterfeit. The suspect allegedly used an online sales app and different phone cards for each transaction. Investigations are ongoing to determine the circumstances of the sales and the authenticity of the products.
